My name is Steve Doherty and I am passionate about helping organizations become better at managing people and process. Throughout my career, I have witnessed management promote individuals without training, coaching or mentoring, resulting in a void of leadership and ultimately, mediocre organizations. Strong leadership and efficient process transforms organizations and removes artificial ceilings for success.
As a leader in technology organizations, I led extremely productive teams with extraordinarily low attrition. We delivered high quality customer solutions quickly and harnessed the full potential of the team. I strive to bring this success to other organizations.
My experience includes being a highly rated SPC (SAFe Practice Consultant) with experience as VP of Engineering, Adjunct Professor and Consultant. I have led very successful teams through the hyper growth of startups, acquisitions, economic downturns and multiple Agile Transformations.
I earned a bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems from Bentley University.
When not working, I like to bike, hike, run, travel and spend time with family and friends.
